My Background
I have been riding for decades - Randonneering (timed, distance (marathon) riding, Self contained touring (through western Canada). During that time I have worked on my bikes, as well as many friends and acquaintances.
A few years ago I had the chance to develop my mechanical skills with a local bike shop; where I did everything from building bikes, tune ups, replacing parts, building wheels, and complete overhauls. I have worked with bikes, trikes, wheel chairs, and e-bikes - to name a few types of bikes.
Why a Mobile Bike Repair Business?
I developed great skills on working with bikes, but I missed talking one to one with the customer - explaining, teaching, helping the customer develop. By going Mobile, I am able to meet the customer, talk to them, find out their concerns and needs - in other words, to tailor the work to them.
Why Two Birds?
Meet Stanley and Marco, our mascots. They go everywhere with us, to the mall, hiking, car rides, camping, and of course for bike rides. They share everything in our lives, so why not in the business too?
Depending on the day, you might even see them when we come to you.
